Ms. Thompson's passion for videography began at the age of 14 when she was enrolled
in her school's broadcasting course. From then on she knew this is what she
wanted to do for the rest of her life.
Kerrie graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a minor in Film Studies. . While being a full-time student, she worked at 12th Man Productions for Texas A&M's Athletic Department. At 12th Man Productions she was responsible for producing and editing content for live sports production, and creating highlight videos for multiple sports.
Post graduation, she moved overseas to work with the Department of Defense in Garmisch- Partenkirchen, Germany. As much as she loved living and traveling overseas, she knew it was time to get back into video production.
Upon returning to the US, Kerrie accepted a position with The Ohio State University's Athletic Department to manage game day crews, technical direct in-house feed for football and hockey games, create graphics, and edit videos for various sports.
Kerrie moved to Houston after being offered to teach Video Production to high school juniors and seniors. She did not want to miss an opportunity to engage and enhance young minds. Since moving to Houston, she has worked and/or continues to work production for Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Rice University, ESPN, ESPN3, University of Houston, Houston Dynamo, Houston Astros, and TrendSetters Dance.
Her two favorite hobbies in life are video production and traveling. It is Kerrie's ultimate goal in life to visit as many of the 197 countries there are in this world - just 150 left to go.
