    WHAT DO WE OFFER? Our focus is centered on the fundamentals of technique broken into Beg/Int and Adv/Elite levels. An unparalleled dance experience where dancers are pushed to their limit and allowed to be the dancer they aspire to be Current and innovative techniques instructed by some of the best in the industry Offers dancers the opportunity to earn required summer hours (6). Directors with teams can earn CPE credit. An opportunity to expand your knowledge, vocabulary, technique, and PASSION for dance. You will leave challenged but inspired to reach your goals as a dancer. We are committed in providing an educational experience that will leave you motivated and wanting more! Although we want you to be able to wear comfortable attire, we do need it to be appropriate. MERCHANDISE – TS will have a wide variety of merchandise for sell ranging from $10.00 – $50.00. We also provide Dance Team/Drill Team Directors the opportunity to order for your team and be Invoiced. VIDEOTAPING – At the request of some Guest Artist, videotaping will be prohibited. However, TS will inform you prior to each Intensive per the Guest Artist request. You will be allowed to video all other sessions taught by the TS staff. LUNCH – The Host school will provide a concession as part of their fundraising through their Booster Club. We encourage you to support the host school and order for your entire team. No outside food or drinks will be allowed in the school out of courtesy to our host school. CONDUCT – In respect to the other participating dancers, we ask that you monitor the following: Cell Phones should be silenced or turned off during all classes even if you are not participating. Punctuality is a must. Tardiness is a distraction to the Instructor and other dancers. If later than 10 minutes, credit may be denied. Participation should be a priority. We want you to leave with as much information and movement as possible. Talking, unless encouraged by the Instructor, should be avoided. Dancers Host School (if registered with the full team)– $50.00/dancer Individual Registration – $90.00/dancer Registered Team of 20 -40 Members – $85.00/dancer Registered Team of 40+ Members – $80.00/dancer Onsite Registration – $100.00/dancer Directors $50.00/director Directors can observe or take classes and receive 6 hours of CPE credit.     REGIONALS DIVISIONS & CATEGORIES Small 5-10 Medium 11-14 Large 15-40 High School Divisions Small 14 & Below Large 15 & Above All-Star Divisions Pom Hip Hop Jazz Kick Team Performance Game Day Contemporary/Lyrical Pom Hip Hop Jazz Kick Open Variety Contemporary/Lyrical High School Categories All-Star Categories Time Constraints: 2:15 maximum (Excluding Game Day) Solos Divisions Ages Tot/Mascot 4 & under Tiny/Pre-K 5-6 Elementary 7-9 Intermediate 10-12 Junior 13-15 Senior 16-18 Performance Categories Pom A style that has a strong emphasis on intricate arm movements and is visually pleasing to the eye due to the different groupings and shapes made by the arm movements. Poms should be utilized for at least 75% of the routine. Hip Hop A style that refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping. Jazz A style of dance that partners music and body that reflects a compilation of universal cultures and styles to strengthen the body, mind, and soul as an individual within a communal energy. It combines syncopated rhythms with technical movements that stem from classical ballet. Kick A dance performance where 75% of the dance includes varied kick sequences and is performed with an emphasis on precision, timing, control, technique, and height uniformity. Military A dance performance consisting of strong, sharp, linear movements focusing on precision, placement, and formation changes. Team Performance In the division, routines can be 2:15 or less and must contain 30 seconds of each genre: Hip Hop, Jazz, Pom, and Kick! This category was created to show a team’s versatility, and strength overall. Game Day A melding of 3 performance components: 1. Fight Song – representing a traditional fight song your team performs at games and community events. 2. Spirit Raising – (Choose only 1 of the 3) Performance of your choice with emphasis on crowd appeal: Sideline Routine, Stand Routine, or Drum Cadence 3. Performance Routine – This routine is designed for crowd entertainment and is the best time to showcase your team’s energy and connection to the crowd. Contemporary/Lyrical A style of dance that traditionally combines classical modern with classical ballet, but is now allowing jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop to influence the choreography. Including a melding of ballet, jazz, and modern with an emphasis on using the lyrics and emotions of the music to influence the choreography and performance. Have Questions?
